This is a small app run by one person. This page says exactly what it stores, who can see it, and how to get rid of it.

What we store

Your first name, and nothing else about you. No email, no phone number, no password: your account is tied to this phone.

Your first name is all other people see of you — never a last name.

Your approximate location. Your phone gives us a precise position, and we round it to about half a mile BEFORE saving it. The exact position is never written down. Other people are only told how far away you are — never a coordinate, an address, or a map pin.

Your dogs and their photos, and whatever you write about them.

Who you swiped on, who you matched with, and your messages. Nobody can see who passed on them.

A notification token, if you turn notifications on, so your phone can be reached.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.

We do not show your exact location to anyone, ever.

We do not read your messages, except when investigating a report someone files.

Who can see what

The database itself decides who sees what, rather than trusting the app on your phone.

Your location and your notification token are visible to nobody but you and the person running the app.

Your first name, your dogs and their photos are visible to people nearby who are shown your card.

A photo that has been taken down after a report is visible to nobody but you.

Blocking someone removes you both from each other entirely and deletes the conversation for both of you.

Photos

Photos go live as soon as you add them. Every photo must have a dog in it. Anyone can report a photo from a card or a chat; a real person looks at every report and can take a photo down or remove an account.

Deleting your account

Settings, then "Delete my account and everything in it".

This is a real deletion, not a hidden flag. Your profile, your dogs, their photos, your swipes, your matches and every message are removed. It cannot be undone.

If you delete the app without deleting your account first, there is no way back into it and the data stays until it is removed. Delete the account from Settings first if you want it gone straight away.

One exception: if someone filed an abuse report involving you, the report is kept with the reporter's identity removed. A safety report should not disappear because an account was deleted.

Meeting people in real life

This app introduces strangers who then meet in person. Nobody here is vetted, background-checked or verified. Vaccination and neutering are whatever the owner typed in — we do not check paperwork.

Meet in a public place the first time. Tell someone where you are going. Keep both dogs leashed until you have both agreed otherwise.

Where your data lives

On Supabase's servers in the United States. Notifications are delivered through Expo's push service. Those two companies process data on our behalf and nobody else receives it.

Children

This app is not for anyone under 18.
